Today was Jay Park‘s second day on his three day mall tours and he didn’t disappoint. The mall tour was held at Venice Piazza McKinley Hill and many fans gathered despite the pouring rain. Fans continue to buy his album “New Breed” and many had desired for their album to be signed. Fans who were present yesterday at Eastwood Mall also came to shower Jay with never ending support as they stood at the second floor of the venue to watch from there in order to give other fans the opportunity of seeing and meeting him.
Jay Park definitely made getting rained on worth it because even before the start of the event, he gave his fans a pleasant surprise as he suddenly appeared onstage for a last minute mic and music check. Fans were certainly delighted to catch a glimpse of his preparation to the point everyone were already hype up for the event to start.
The host of the event for today was of course the ever beautiful radio DJ, Park Jinri and she started off by introducing the opening act of today’s show which were no other than the Youtube sensations, teen acoustic pop duo, Krissy and Ericka. The duo released an album under MCA Music titled, “Krissy and Ericka: Twelve:Fifty One”. They serenaded the audience with a song from their album titled “Rocketeer”. Up next was a song every person who had their heart broken can relate to, also from their album titled, “12:51″. It was the song that got them at the top of MYX charts. Last but not least is their acoustic rendition of Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” with Ericka making a sweet twist on the rap parts.
Finally, the star of the show appeared wearing a black sleeveless shirt that emphasized his biceps and got his fans excited than ever. He started with a performance of “Nothin’ On You” wherein he flashed his well-defined abs making the screams get even louder and fans getting wilder. There was another case of technical glitch but all is well as his fans chanted his name and even sang with him making him both thankful and enthusiastic. He also performed “I Got Your Back”, “Star”, “Up and Down”, “Know Your Name” and “Girlfriend”. Another lucky fan also got the chance of getting a solo picture with him onstage as well as getting awesome prizes as he won the “Know Your Dance” game. There was also the “Getting to know more of Jay Park” portion wherein radio DJ Jinri even suggested that Jay should try eating Balut (A Filipino Exotic Food) to which Jay replied that he might have a hard time eating it as the only Filipino dish he tried was Chicken Adobo. Jay definitely was on a roll as he keep on making his fans fall in love with him by stating that he wouldn’t mind having a Filipina girlfriend.
