Less than half a year since his last concert in Singapore, Jay Park returned to Singapore again and this time with the status of brand ambassador for local speakers, X-mini.

Besides being a talented singer-songwriter and entertainer, the Korean artiste showed his flair for design as well as he explained his concept behind the limited edition Jay Park X-mini Capsule Speaker, which he personally designed, at the press conference held yesterday.

“I went for a sleek, simple yet cool look – something which can reflect my style and personality.”

This is not the artiste’s first attempt at designing a product. The romantic chap told xinmsn that he once gave a custom made necklace that had words engraved on it to his girlfriend in the past.

When asked about his endorsement fees, the Korean singer who is also the first artiste to launch a customised speaker refused to divulge the “secret”, but showed off his sense of humour with a witty reply instead. “It’s not as much as you think,” he said.
