On October 29, 2011, MTV EXIT (End Exploitation and Human Trafficking) organized a free concert at the SM Mall of Asia in Manila. The said concert was headlined by no other than Jay Park, Evaline and other local Filipino artists like Parokya ni Edgar, Ebe Dancel, Pupil and Itchyworms. Jason Mraz, who is in the Philippines for a concert, also made a special appearance in the event.
Jay Park was the last to perform but of course, he did not disappoint! He started with his Korean version of Nothing On You by B.O.B which, if you can recall, was the song that he covered on Youtube and gained millions of views. He also performed Ne-Yo‘s Because of You, Jay Sean‘s Down, his own songs like Abandoned, Demon and Tonight as well as his self-composed rap, Killin Em Freestyle.
Before he ended, he granted the audience’s request from the very moment he stood on stage. From wearing three layers of top, he one by one took it off as he performed and ended his last song topless! Kpop or non-kpop fans, both were amazed with his talent and showmanship!
Thanks to the efforts of local and international artists and the event partners, thousands of people especially the youth were informed on how to be a part of the cause to stop human trafficking.
